France – Paris – Montmartre.
Montmartre in Paris. I needed to know, I was in Paris and where better to go and soak in love, French cuisine, atmosphere, artists, architecture… than Montmartre. The wall where ‘I love you’ is written in 250 languages is a romantic place to go in Montmartre. The funicular is an easy alternative to the stairs to the white Sacre Coeur Church on the top. I took the smaller church instead of waiting in line for the main one. The cafes are adorable, and I found one with Danish 🇩🇰 flags called embassy and La Consulate and decided to enjoy snails (🐌 escargot’s) and mussels with fries (moulles frites). The area around Artists Square is touristy, but also still with cafes with atmosphere, and it’s only 100 m, then you are at normal housing and bus stops.
