We were with the WIG men tribe, when the men put on makeup and got ready. Some peacefull hours in the sun while they transformed and shared their culture and traditions.

WIGS made of mens hair when they attend their bachelor school. Feathers of paradise bords, parrots etc. Palm leaves. Face painting. Drums. Dresses. Kneglaces with the bones from the hornbill in the neck.

Both men and women dress up in Papua Mew Guinea when its time to celebrate, honor or impress.

This is for celebration, rather than for war.
